Cocktail Dresses for this Seasons

I personally love weddings, it's not just about the bride and groom anymore, I love to go and be social, drink and dance with my friends, and look amazing while doing it. I am around that age where most of my friends are starting to settle down and there's a wedding every other weekend. So I know what it is like to try and find the perfect dress for each wedding. Whether it’s a day, evening or night wedding there’s always a perfect dress for the occasion.
With the wedding season coming up it's important to look stylish. It's not just the dress but the hair, shoes, handbags and accessories.
Who doesn't love weddings, going to them, being a part of them, they're always a happy occasion and with it being the wedding season there are just a few styles that will make you stand out. Bridesmaid dresses are becoming less cohesive, brides are allowing their bridesmaids to choose their own type of dress but with the brides color scheme.
I know I am always looking at what others are wearing at weddings, their shoes and accessories. Sometimes it’s just as important as the brides dress it’s a place to show yourself off. People always say that you could meet your future husband or wife at a wedding so it’s important to look your best. And I know it’s shallow but the outside is always the first impression.
I put together a few outfits that I think would be this season’s hottest styles. They’re a mix of this season’s hottest floral print design, simplicity, and pop out bold colors. Believe it or not all these outfits are less than $100.00 dollars.

I picked this outfit because I thought it would be perfect for a day or evening wedding, it has that punch of color that’ll make anyone stand out and look amazing. The earrings and shoes complement the outfit without taking the focus off of you or the dress.

Formal Wear or
Black Tie Wedding Attire is typically a cocktail and/or long dress. You can still wear a splash of color because black attire is just a phrase to let the men know they have to wear tuxedos. Also, Black Tie weddings are typically held at night and/or after 5:00 p.m.

Both outfits would look great at a wedding, accessorized correctly and you're sure to stand out amongst the crowd. I know that when you buy the dress it's so hard to put all the finishing touches together so I thought I'd throw together some cute accessories to go with, hopefully this will give you an idea of what the outfit can really look like.

Cocktail Attire which is the most common trend at weddings is simply a short elegant dress. I prefer cocktail dresses but every wedding is different plus you have to factor in if it's a church wedding, there’s always an appropriate attire to wear to a church.

I love these two outfits, they're perfect for cocktail attire. They're both bold pieces but that's what is hot this summer, the floral prints and crazy lines, not to mention the powerful colors they both have. A way to trim them down if you feel like you'll stand out too much is white, it's classic and compliments any outfit. With the floral print above I chose white because it calmed the dress down as well as making it easier to find a pair of shoes to go with that kind of an outfit. The outfit below blends well together and the earing's really make the outfit complete. With the not so matchy gold shoes it throws everyone for a loop but with staying cohesive to the outfit. This would be great at cocktail wedding or a beach wedding just change up the shoes.

Informal, Casual, and Outdoor is another style of weddings. When the invitation states informal or casual, pretty much anything can go, jeans to a sundress. Also location factors in, if it’s at a beach then clearly a sundress would look great, if it’s at a function hall then jeans can be worn. It’s entirely up to the guest.
I love florals, and especially bold loud colors, I know it's not for everyone but let me know what you guys think. Is this something you'd wear? Do you have any suggestions? Give me some feedback.
